Just discovered your mod and didn't try it yet so sorry if this is already a feature.
If you make the build entity a dummy and replace it on build with the appropriate part (elbow, t piece etc), it should be possible to pretend like the pipes only connect to the same color
Only issue might be that the build preview isn't perfect because I think you can't read the cursor position to then constantly update the cursor stack

Although that feature is not part of this mod, I have worked closely with protocol_1903 to add compatibility between Color Coded Pipes and No Pipe Touching :)
