I’m happy that Bob’s mods now support Factorio Space :D
However, the current Bob’s mod recipes are still stuck at their last V1.0 versions and haven’t been optimized for the Space Exploration environment.
After about eight hours of play, I noticed that the regular bullet recipe calls for lead plates.
That’s no problem on the starter planet, but once you’re launching a spaceship you might not be able to assemble those bullets onboard, which can block further exploration of other planets.

I haven't yet done integration work for Bob's and Space Age. That is going to wait until after I've finished updating Angel's mods and Sea Block. It is on my list though!

Man, i really wish bob, angle, space exploration, space age, all the new planets mods. As a massive Meta overhaul. And of course, this means to have a "start at any planet" because there is no way to make you start on a planet and not make the others to easy. So we can chose where to start, knowing that all the other planets will be more easy.

Also the reason why i posted on this one is exactly what was pointed out: change of recepies to avoid such situations. As an exemple, adding alternative version of the recepies (aka how rocket fuel is in vanilla space age). So there will be a recepy for iron plate to bullets, but there will be one that uses lead that will yell more.

and while i am sure that the mega overhaull might be to much. Please just bare in mind, since who knows, maybe it might be possible?

Also, i don't know about codding, but, i wanted to know, is it not possible to speed up using the ai? Like getting a month subscription and have it generate files after files. And even if the month is over, you'll have tons of files with scrips that you can copy paste, and give it to the free one to combine them or change or whatever.... Sorry, i just try to help somehow because i really love that you make the game even more great!
