Going through the available research to get the feel for it, the biggest thing is that no miners are ever craftable. Not sure if it's the 'total conversion' setting removing them, or something else, but it means the only source of biomass is wood (the recipe also claims you get it from stone, but it wants wood. Stone, while acquirable, seems to have no use)
Also, none of the placeable organs have a fuel slot, although it does warn me about lack of fuel when I pick them back up, oddly enough.
The pheromone marker and worker grubs seem to suggest they should be placeable/deployable, but there's no option to do so, meaning there's no way to automate any kind of logistics.
I'm guessing it just broke in the rewrite, or maybe something got badly prompted and nuked previous stuff, idk, but here's hoping it gets fixed!
