Olá, and thanks for asking! You're welcome to translate the strings. I noticed that your mod doesn't depend on the translated mods, so I guess I'd have to add an optional dependency on yours once your translation is ready -- is that correct?

How do you handle updates to localized strings? Do you update your translations once the original mods have been updated, or would you prefer if I tell you before releasing updates whether any strings have changed? (I'm not on Discord or github, by the way, but I'm on the forum quite regularly.)

Yes, you would have to add an optional dependency, which has a light tutorial available in the mod's FAQ.
Regarding strings, they are automatically updated when a new update is published.

I know how dependencies work. The reason I asked is that there is a mod for Russian translations that adds optional dependencies on the translated mods. Either way is OK with me. :-)

Thanks, that's wonderful! Just holler when the translation is ready, and I'll add the dependency …

I don't use other optional dependencies, only in the case of packs like the one from the logistics trains network!

Hello, I would like to inform you that a semi-translation has been added, still 75% completed, by next month it should be 100% complete.

Thanks for the info -- and, of course, for spending time and work on translating my mod! :-) I've already added an optional dependency on your mod to my WIP version.

Hi! I've noticed your invitation to collaborate. From looking at your mod, I don't think I can be useful: All your mod contains is info.json with dependencies on other mods, the changelog (which is working alright), and the locale files for the different mods. While I consider myself well-versed in English, my native language is German and I've never learned (Brazilian) Portuguese. (I've learned a bit of Spanish a long time ago, so I know just about enough to misunderstand Portuguese sentences when I read them -- but I wouldn't be able to translate texts from English to Portuguese.) However, if you're looking for help with something else except translating, you can send me a PM on the forum (I'm using the same name there).

Sorry, it was a miss click I was trying to copy the mod name in the configuration file and I copied the author so it changed some settings it found. But nothing stops you from being part of the mod lol

I want to inform you that if the mod has more than 6 > localization files it will become a submod (pack) I hope this will not be a problem for you =]

Nice gotcha! :-D

Thanks for the info, but I guess I won't add another file in the near future. If I'd ever do that, I also see no problem in your splitting out the translations to another submod.

By the way, I've just released version 1.1.15 where I've mentioned your mod in the changelog. Sorry it took me so long, but there were always some new issues I discovered when I thought I'd be just about ready to upload …

no problem! Thank you for being part of the translation system! This helps a lot of people who don't know the language

I saw! I realized that I had a circle of dependency, I can remove the circle if you want but I would have to add the dependency on your side... =]
