Atomic Arig

Uranium is now a resource unique to Planetaris Unbounded's Arig. Moves nuclear sciences onto the planet, tweaks recipes, and adjusts the tech tree to provide an alternative experience.

g (Resolved) Balance: WAY too much U238 for Compression Science

The amount of U238 required for science is extremely overtuned.

For a very modest ~45 SPM, you're looking at needing ~250 Miners on Uranium (in addition to what you get from sifting) and more than 50 centrifuges (or once you get Atom Forges, ~160 Miners and 30 Atom Forges).

This is nearly impossible prior to being able to build on sand, and even once you can, it is far, far too much. The power requirements, the difficulty of transporting that uranium, the additional Sulfur required, and the strain that puts on Oil all feel completely out of whack with the amount of other infrastructure required on Arig.

IMO, it should only cost 1 U238. I realize that's a 10x reduction, but I truly think that's what seems balanced. That's actually still not easy, when you consider how spread out (and often small) Uranium patches are, and the difficult of transporting it around Arig. And it would still be one of the biggest power consumers.

The values weren't balance checked enough before the mod was made, so the feedback is appreciated. As of 1.0.7 this is now one U238 per science, which is hopefully still scarce enough to encourage mining the ore with productivity.

I've played it with the lower cost now, and it feels really good!

The Uranium is still challenging but not oppressive.
