Assault Spidertron

A more versatile alternative to the standard Spidertron. It features enhanced durability and a reworked arsenal: replacing three of its original four rocket launchers with a flamethrower, a machine gun, a small-caliber cannon, and a high-caliber main cannon that fires artillery shells. One rocket launcher remains as part of its default configuration. Additional customization options, including early unlocks, engine choices, and configurable weapon systems, make it a highly adaptable combat unit.

g Spider drifting while moving forward.

Thank for this mod - its really awesome with much config possibilities.
My problem is this: I sit inside this spidertron and While i try to build something long like belts in my megabus or pipes or something, i noticed this spider is drifting upward.
When i drive from west to east or east to west this spidertron is drifting north - so every 100-150 tiles of moving left, i also move 1 tile up.
When i try to build floor tiles by hand or try to extend my megabus belts (by copy and paste) it causes me to always miss my "target" as this spider is slowly drifting north and my cursor finally goes 1 tile up and now im building diagonal and not straight.

My lines should look like this: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ->

But they look like this: ______---------------- ->

Of course this building problem depends on zoom level. If you zoom really close then you need to "drift" north a lot in because "1 tile" takes up more of screen space. But if you zoom out while building, you only need to drift north a little because 1 tile is smaller on monitor.

I compared this with original spidertron and "spidertron builder" from other mod - they have 8 legs and are bigger and they drive straight even after 200-300 tiles of travel.
I can try to edit this mod and experiment with different values but i dont even know where to start experimenting.

Wow, that's a fascinating observation — I honestly hadn't encountered that kind of drift myself yet, so your detailed description is incredibly helpful. It sounds like a very specific issue, possibly tied to the Spidertron's movement logic or even its leg configuration, but I have no idea yet what might be causing it.

I'll definitely try to reproduce this behavior as soon as I get the chance. Thanks to your clear explanation and comparison with other Spidertrons, I should be able to set up a proper test scenario. Once I understand what's going on, I'll look into possible fixes or adjustments.

Thanks again for reporting this so thoroughly — much appreciated!
