Hi there Helicopter_Ambulance. I'd like to request a feature if possible. A mod option to NOT replace vanilla enemies, so I could add this as a faction or infected planet on my warp drive machine mod. I can help with that if needed

What is required for your mod, just for the zombies to be an additional type of enemy?

yes, so vanilla enemies are still out there.
This mod did the exactly same thing with the original arachnid mod.

A simple startup mod option, could be disabled by default, would change nothing on the current mod state for anyone who updates to the new version. I have some experience with biters mods. If you need, I can help

I had a bit of a look into it. I think it will be easier if I create a separate mod because all the changes to the zombie behavior will likely conflict with other enemy mods.
I should have a bit of time in the next few days to finish it.

BTW, while it does replace the basic biters it does NOT replace Armoured Biters
