First, there's a voidflux productivity infinite research. Once you start going into it it becomes more worth it.
Second, there's a cap to how much Void Flux a recipe can use, hence the "up to 50%", because some recipes will only be 33% faster.
Third, you need less infrastructure and you can share the void flux. If you need say, 16 iron ore voidworks and 14 copper ore voidworks. Then by using Void Flux you only need 8 iron ore voidworks and 7 copper ore voidworks, with 15 Void Flux voidwork. However, void flux is a fluid and voidworks are passthrough, meaning that you only need to connect 1 pipe between all the machines, saving you on logistic. Plus fluid transmission is instant, so you can stuff the voidflux machines in a corner somewhere if you're tight on space.
Fourth, you can stockpile voidflux in storage tanks during period of inactivities, allowing you to use less machines if that section of the factory isn't running at full throttle all the time.
