All your mods isn't compatible with mod packs etc due to they are "deprecated" now; people even don't see your mods when they are scrolling this site.
Factorio 1.0 doesn't require specific actions to change version and you can even do nothing it'll work if there is a version for Factorio 0.18.

Yes, you would at least update them to the release version first.

Looks like someone has already attempted a 1.1 update for this mod. Haven't tried it, so I don't know how well it works.

Bad communications is a common tragedy.
People's feelings DO matter always, even if someone does not have the energy at the moment to care for them.
This is a loss to the community.
