Organized Solar System

Organizes the positions of solar system planets by 'tier', making it easier for modded planets to indicate where they fit in the Space Age progression. Lengths of routes are unchanged. For route lengths that match the organized map precisely, install 'Planetary Distance Adjustments'.

Organized Solar System

Spatially organizes the positions of planets by 'tier', counterclockwise across the screen, making it easier for modded planets to indicate where they fit in the Space Age gameplay progression.

If you notice an unsupported modded planet, please post in the Discussion tab with your suggestion of where to place it.

Features

  • 'Tiers' run counterclockwise from Nauvis, left-to-right across the screen.
    • Vulcanus, Fulgora and Gleba appear in sequential order, indicating their difficulty.
    • As a result, Nauvis is less centrally placed.
  • Lengths of routes are unchanged. The map is roughly to scale before the solar system edge, but if you would like routes between vanilla and modded planets to match new solar system exactly, you can install Planetary Distance Adjustments alongside this mod.

Supported mods

Modders can override their planet's position in Tiered Solar System by specifying this mod as an optional dependency. HOWEVER, I recommend you add a version number check like "? Tiered-Solar-System < 2.0.0", just in case we need to make a reorganization in future.

Note

I am looking for a collaborator to keep this mod in good shape going forward. Feel free to reach out.
