beacons not showing up says there is an issue with recipes

mine have beacon recipe appear in assembly machines & electromagnetic plants. could you provide me a screencap and log?

I believe that it's not compatible with Rainbow Beacon Overhaul mod. you might need to remove that mod to have my mod activate.

I checked it, it's in module catagory in recipe selection scene

i am not using rainbow beacons and i cant even load the game with the mod

If you can see "module" recipe category via other mod(s), you will see it belong here.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to create a recipe category....

can you share what mods you are using so i can work out witch mod adds the 'electronics' category

could you not release a patch changing the category from electronics to logistics

Also, I use Tarawind Beacon 2 1.3.10. If you use versions that's higher than this, it will cause crash on startup. Please downgrade the version of this mod to 1.3.10

I solved the issue editing the category to "crafting" inside the files "recipe.lua" and "data-updates.lua" if you want to try.

I could, but it's easier to edit directly the file. You search for "category" and replace the selection with "crafting". It's matter of 30 seconds, knowing what to do. And I just told you both the files to check and what to change.

Ok, you haven't changed it inside the file data-updates.lua in the root directory.
I just hope it doesn't cause troubles...
