i Make spider corpses able to be marked for deconstruction

Pretty much what it says on the tin, i needed to eradicate a bunch of spiderlings (yay lag) and a corpse eraser mod removed the visual corpses but not the inventories. is there a possibility that they could be marked for deconstruction in the future?

Unfortunately the engine does not allow entities of type character-corpse to be deconstructed.

That said, a corpse eraser mod could add support for this in a fairly straightforward way. Was it this one you used?

You could suggest that it adds support for clearing character-corpse too (which is the special type of corpse I use for this mod, the same as what is used for the player in vanilla) - it could delete the corpses and spill the items on the ground, marked for deconstruction.

(This mod actually uses both corpse and character-corpse as you noticed - the corpse is purely visual, whereas the character-corpse contains the inventory. character-corpse does not support custom colouration so that's why I still need the correctly-coloured corpse too. I have a script that deletes the corpse when the character-corpse is removed. Before this, I just had a character-corpse but it wouldn't inherit the spidertron's colour, it just looked brown: https://github.com/tburrows13/SpidertronEnhancements/raw/master/resources/corpse.png.)

Hmmm actually I think that would be out of scope for a generic corpse-remover mod. I think for such a niche usecase it isn't worth adding support for this using whatever hacks, instead you can just disable "Save spidertron inventory into corpse upon death" before eradicating your spidertrons.

Yeah I might just do that, thanks for the extra brainstorming tho! I really appreciate the dedication fr! Also I'm pretty sure I do use that mod too as it helps with the lag spikes I sometimes get.
