It would be nice if the pipette remote tool gave me a temporary connected remote that disappears when pressing Q. That way I don't need to have all the remotes for every Spidertron in my inventory. The mod Spidertron Control Center does this too, but I really like the pipette feature here.

I'll likely add it as an option, although then the feature is behaving even less like the vanilla pipette. I believe that 'Shortcuts for 1.1' also contains the free disappearing remote, but you have to connect it each time (or it saves the last connection? I don't remember).

Yes, I'm also using the Shortcuts mod. It disables the recipe for creating remotes entirely, you can only get remotes via the shortcut (and they don't disappear).
I really don't like the fact that the more spidertrons I want to have the smaller my inventory gets. Or I have to constantly reconnect the remotes whenever I want to move them or change the follower target.
