K1 Advanced Storage — Factorio 2.1
More room for your factory! Add spacious 2×2 and 6×6 chests, including all five logistic variants, with artwork originally created for Krastorio Legacy.
This is an unofficial Factorio 2.1 continuation of K1 Advanced storage continued, maintained by Spawnsen.

Both sizes are available as regular, storage, buffer, requester, active provider and passive provider chests.
Research and Space Age
Unlock larger chests, simple logistic chests and advanced logistic chests through three research stages.
With Space Age enabled, advanced chest research uses space science packs. The chests cannot be placed on space platforms.
Compatibility and upgrading
- Requires Factorio 2.1.7 or newer within the 2.1 series.
- No additional third-party mods are required.
- Tested with Factorio 2.1.23, with and without Space Age, Quality, Recycler and Elevated Rails.
This fork uses the unique internal name Spawnsen_K1_Advanced_Storage. When switching from K1 Advanced storage continued, including versions 2.1.0 and 2.1.1 of this fork, disable the old mod and enable this one before loading your save. Chest, item, recipe, technology and startup-setting names are preserved. Try the switch on a copy of your save first.
The original storage mods and this continuation cannot be enabled together because they define the same chest prototypes.
