Attempting to place heat pipes through remote view causes them to place ghosts of superheated heat-pipes instead and refuses to build them normally. As a result, this means I can't actually place heat pipes on space platforms in order to progress the mod in the intended way.

The superheated heat-pipe seems to just have the internal id of "heat-pipe" same as the vanilla game, so it might be messing with placement rules somehow? We've been playing with quite a few other mods, so it might be an incompatibility somewhere?? The list is long enough that trying to just list every mod we have seems unhelpful.

That has been fixed in the most recent version. Make sure Solar Halo is updated and it should go away. Please ping me if it doesn't.

Just popping in to say that this hasn't been fixed as far as I can tell, it still places superheated heat pipes instead of regular ones

Could you send me a save file where this is broken? I haven't been able to reproduce this since the original fix.

I also want to share an observation that might help you: before playing through the game, I tested your mod in editor mode and didn’t encounter this problem in building mode from the map. Perhaps you weren’t able to reproduce the error because you also did it in editor mode, and for some reason, building works differently in editor mode than when you’re playing through the game.

так же хочу поделится наблюдением которое может вам помочь, перед прохождением я тестировал вашь мод в режиме editor и не сталкивался с этой проблемой в режиме строительства с карты, возможно вам не удалось воспроизвести ошибку из за того что тоже делали это в режиме editor, и почемуто в режиме editor строительство работает иначе чем при прохождении.
