I have a few artillery trains going around and it's getting to the point where there is a constant alert, one after the other, because the artillery gets enabled on the outposts and disabled in home base. I don't want to mute ALL kinds of alerts though, so turning down the volume of all alerts isn't a good solution.

Is there a way to make the alert "Enabling / Disabling Artillery on Train xyz" silent? Maybe there already is and I'm just missing it. If there isn't, is it possible to implement such a feature?

I got distracted playing Space Exploration this week, I'll work on it sometime this weekend. In the meantime, you can unzip the mod and comment out some of the game.print() lines
