All vehicle equipment gets deleted upon conversion to an autofiring wagon and does not return the equipment if converted back. There is no support for bob's vehicle equipment.
Thanks for the report! It is fixed now. (I also fixed the same bug in Multiple Unit Train Control.)
Please report if there are other mods besides Bob's Vehicle Equipment that add grids to artillery wagons, so I can add the to the dependency list too.
