Schall Transport Group


Provide a separate new “Transport” group tab, containing all vanilla vehicles and any items already under vanilla transport subgroup. Act as a framework for bringing together any transport-related items. Designed for players who have lots of modded vehicles cluttering the “Logistics” tab. (Locale: English, Deutsch, 正體中文, 简体中文, Português Brasileiro, Русский, Français) To fellow modders: Please consider putting your modded vehicles in this group as well! Instructions included in FAQ.

Sorry for late response. Was away from Factorio, and just recently finished updating to 2.0.

What do you want me to implement exactly?
If those items were in vanilla transport subgroup, they should appear in the Transport group tab automatically, without the need of further coding.

In the latest version of Transport Group, the AAI vehicle ghosts appear in the vehicles tab, but the recipes are in the logistics tab. It looks like AAI vehicles puts AI vehicles in the "ai-vehicles" recipe subgroup. If you add recipes in that subgroup to the transport group tab, AAI vehicles will be moved there.

I see. It is having the "vehicles" part in subgroup name, so I think I can move that subgroup. This will be included in the next release.

Yet since I have not really played those mods, I will not modify its subgroup order. So I am unsure how well it will fit with other subgroups.

Just released 1.1.2 / 2.0.2, which included the above changes.
It is a generic change, instead of just "ai-vehicles" recipe subgroup, here my code will match any subgroup ending with "-vehicles". Hope this pattern is safe enough and not over-matching unintended subgroups.

Follow up to this, I was playing with a slightly larger pack (including AAI Programmable Vehicles), and a few of the recipes that add AI to a specific vehicle were not in the Vehicles tab (specifically, the Boat from Cargo Ships, all of the spider vehicles disguised as aircraft from Lex Aircraft mod, and all of the spider vehicles added by Spidertron Enhancements).

On top of that, removal of AI recipe from every vehicle was not included in the Vehicles tab. I tested this with a simple modlist including just AAI Programmable Vehicles, AAI Miner, and this mod (plus requirements, no dlc enabled). All 5 vehicle miners, the base game car, 3 kinds of tank (added by AAI Programmble Vehicles, I think), and the spidertron were still in the Logistics tab (v2.0.2)
