i [Responed] Damage problems with enemies mods (Will not Implement)

Hi,
I really like the idea of have rifle that use personal battery but trying it with rampart all arsenal introduced is quite... weak?
There's a chance to have some technologies for boost damage or better some setting to configure the weapons?

Current weapons settings are balanced (or a bit better) towards vanilla weapons. These energy weapons benefit from the shooting speed and ammo damage upgrades, which are attached to the vanilla weapons upgrade techs.
So yea, for powerful & insane enemies introduced by other mods, my weapons (together with vanilla weapons) will be weak against them.

So I want to know the following to determine what to change...
1. Have you upgraded the vanilla weapons upgrade tech? (e.g., energy weapon damage, laser turret shooting speed)
2. Have you tried using vanilla weapons? Are my weapons weaker than vanilla weapons?
3. I have not tried with rampart. Are those modded enemies being laser resistant?

  1. I have upgraded the weapons to mid upgrades
  2. They are better than vanilla weapons, with the vanilla content only fit well, my observation is about the use with other mods
  3. Rampart add biter with laser resistant but fast biters and other nice enemies too, the problem is that strong enemies need strong weapon

Alright, so the conclusion is that Rampart mod has generally stronger enemies then.
Balancing with vanilla game is still my first priority. Fitting both vanilla and (crazily) modded game at the same time is tricky...
Maybe someone using both this mod and Rampart can create an external mod, like modifying various shooting speed and/or ammo damage in "data-updates" stage. But I won't maintain such a mod myself, since I probably won't have any time to try Rampart (or any other enemy mods) to seek the "right" damage settings. I will let anyone whose interested to do that. (I can provide guides on how to do it, if needed.)

Could I do it myself when I have time?

Yes, absolutely!
You will probably know the better settings than me.
