Schall Alien Loot


Dead aliens are now good aliens! Aliens will pay for your base defense! On their death, they bring back the 0.14 alien artifact. They also drop alien ores as loots, which can be morphed into ordinary ores like iron ore. Also adds alien science pack that can be used for research in other tech mods. Well-suited for combat-heavy, no-mining scenarios. (Locale: English, Deutsch, 正體中文, 简体中文, Русский, Português Brasileiro, Español, and 26 Partial)

g [Solved] Artifact Filter

Sometimes on Fulgora with the recycler I get a random Alien Artifact. But I can't select it as an option in the inserter filter menu so I cannot reasonably collect them.

I'm able to see alien artifacts in the inserter filter and belt filter menus.

It is in my game filter menu too, under "Intermediate products" tab. It is at the very top, next to Carbon and Explosives?
Can you please check it again? Or make a screenshot of the tab?

In the worst case, you can make it into quick bar (either real item or ghost item can work), and put it into filter can set filter too.

Upon checking I still don't see it; using the search feature is also fruitless. I have Alien Loot Economy enabled and I'm guessing that's doing it. Sorry for dropping this on your lap and missing what might have been recognized as an ~obvious conflict.

Hello! I'm having this problem too. I had Alien Loot Economy, but I removed it and installed this mod.

If I start a fresh save game, it works as expected. So again, this should be something related to that other mod.

It's annoying because not only they are missing in the filter selectors, but also in the parametrized blueprint's selector (which I use a lot) and logistic requests' item selector (which I would use to trash the alien ores).

I don't want to start over 😅 so as a dev I'm looking for what's the reason of this, and how can I fix it.

Do you have any idea where can I start? I see this mod adds prototypes only, so no runtime-logic that could be going wrong. So I'm going to be reviewing the Alien Loot Economy mod.

Well, I found nothing relevant in that mod. But...

I was able to reproduce the bug by installing the Schall Alien Tech mod. Now, it's not an error. It's related to how the game works. Since that mod adds a recipe that produces the alien ores, and that recipe is locked by default, the game interpret that the item is locked too. If you research the tech, you will be able to use those items.

You can go to the game's interface settings and enable "Show all items in selection lists" to solve this problem.

I think a notice about this should be posted in this mod's FAQ or the other one's.
