g Which direction is 0 degrees?

Is it north, south, east, or west?

Experimentation suggests east. And also, scanning within a narrow range due east requires a begin of 5 and an end of 355.

Updated

Is it north, south, east, or west?

Exactly like with the triganometrial circle, 0 is East, 90 is North, 180 is West, and 270 is South.
Actually, it's 0 for East, 90 for South, 180 for West, and 270 for North.
Thanks for the feedback, would update FAQ/description on the next release.

Actually, you can specify negative angles -- i.e., you can scan from -5 to 5 -- see screenshots attached.
