Requirement of having lamps is not heavily enforced as they are generally the most useless fixtures. However, distributing high amount of them all over the factory no longer looks like such a pointless exercise, after the night stoped appearing so ridiculously inconsequantial.

Allows to adjust length of the day and choose brightness and color of the night, zoom-to-map, night-vision and so on. (This is a purely graphical change which does not affect the game mechanics.) By default it is set to dark night, green nightvision and desaturated zoom-to-map. "Factory moves fast, growth and maintenance required, nature does not let."

Remote view is not using "map view" instead it just uses the LUT selected for night.

Remote view is exclusive to Space Exploration, right?
I don't have it so I cannot check it. The mod doesn't change which LUT is used for what in the game; it just replaces the LUTs themselves. The most relevant thing in the API I could find is "zoom_to_world_can_use_nightvision" in "UtilityConstants" but I don't think it is it.

Does the game behave the same without the mod?

Thats not a space only thing, Remote view is also in 2.0. just hit "tab".

It seems to use nightvision colors. The "zoom_to_world_can_use_nightvision" may be relevant after all. I'm gonna need to check that.
