g I would like to generalize this mod to include other entities

How difficult would it be to generalize this mod so other entities must be built on site? Reactors and artillery come to mind but why not things like train tracks, or even pipes? I am aping your code to create an "electric-mining-drill-construction-site" and it's pretty fiddly. So of course I am hoping to come up with a more robust solution rather than piecing it together by hand.
