Recipe Scaler lets you scale wanted recipes ingredients, outputs and speeds the way you want. By default the mod is configured to 5x all intermediates/bulk items only. So you won't see bulk recipe for rocket silos!

The benefit is supporting mods that add faster machines. So if by default you make 1 gear from 2 iron plates at 0.5 seconds, 5x will do 5 gears from 10 iron plates at 2.5 seconds. You will need to move 5 items instead of 1, but it happens less frequently. This relaxes inserters work, and can be considered as a cheat on that regard but also a gain in UPS. This ratio would not tip the balance as far as resources are concerned.

Allowed subgroup rules can be changed, and even blacklisting individual recipes by (internal) name. Leaving subgroup field empty would change the mod to change recipes of every item in the game (except blacklisted ones). This is how other mods in related category work so far, need for this mod came out of necessity to filter subgroups.

Mod does all the changes in data phase, no added scripting at runtime.
Safe to delete or modify during a playthrough, all recipes will automatically revert to defaults when disabled.
