Improves the enemies tactics by using potential fields (pheromones) allowing probing of defenses, retreats, reinforcements, counterattacking, breaching, raids, rallying death cry, and player hunting. Uses blockable biter projectiles. Adds new Enemies which can be disabled in mod settings. Difficulty setting in mod options menu.

Could we get an option to turn on hives without turning on the new enemies?

Hives are really cool, but sometimes the new enemies are a bit much.

If you disable all the factions in the mod settings you should just be left with the common biter type.

Otherwise hives without the new enemies is unlikely.

Enable New Enemies. Keep only Common biters faction. Set ending enemy level = 4..5 according to required difficulty. Reduce Unit Spawner health scaler a little if required.
