Hi, you might call me annoying, but I think advice is always helpful. I noticed that when creating the train schedule the condition to leave the loading station is always "item > n" (e.g. iron ore > 12K). This prevents the train from leaving the station if for example you are working with a train that loads different items such as iron ore and copper ore. If it is not too difficult I suggest giving the player the option to create a template of conditions; if it is too complicated then just add the "or inactivity" condition.

I use my mod myself, including multi-commodity stations and have not noticed any problems.
I specifically do not want to use timeouts, so that if something goes wrong, the trains will stand and wait for the engineer to come and fix everything.
Attach a save game at the location of your station. Perhaps I can tell you how best to use the mod in this case.
