Not sure if this is on your end or Editor Extensions but I got this error when I used the keyboard shortcut to switch BACK to my regular game map.
I was able to use everything as expected in the normal game mode before switching to editor. Did not attempt to use the map teleport in the editor at all (obviously)

Update:
seems that i can avoid the error if I manually switch to the surface I was on before (using the editor tab) and then use the shortcut to leave the editor mode. if that makes sense.
