g Are the spelling error on the Mk 00 machinbes intended ?

1 year, 1 month ago

Hello,

As the title suggest, are the spelling error intended & some sort of a joke ? Every Mk 00 machines has a major spelling error in their name (I am talking about machines that allow you to bridge the gap for "seablock" style gameplay, where you should need a tech to get the Mk I, but are mandatory for super early game, they are not "native" to pyanodon but specific to pyblock).

I don't get the humour, but they are slightly annoying to search because you need to remember "the joke" every time, instead of looking for generic name of the machine ...

Otherwise, great mod !

Yes, they are intentional. There is a mod setting to disable them if you so desire.

Thanks !

And noooooooo it's on startup only :(

It can only be a startup setting

oh no :( i was about to write the same thing..

it would be better if you do it the other way around - do not misspell unless you want it (would be easier if some one - like me - is new to your mods)

You can manually fix the Mk 00 spelling errors at any time by going into PyBlock\locale and editing the relevant locale.cfg. Under [entity-name], replace the relevant entries with the ones under [entity-name-alt]. No need for startup settings.

Why would you edit it instead of just using the already present setting

Why edit it? To change how it appears on an existing save.

Why not use the provided mod setting that does what you're trying to do
