PowerMeterReconnected
A Factorio 2.1 port of daydev's Power+: Power Meter. There is a lot of description on the original mod page, but as I understand what it does, the power meter measures the power grid it is connected to and outputs 4 types of signals:
- Primary producers. This is solar panels. The electricity producers that are drawn from first. There are two signals; utilization and spare capacity. Both of these are percentages, and they are always opposite of each other. So if a third of the power all solar panels produce is used, the utilization signal would be '33', and the spare capacity signal would be '67'.
- Secondary producers. Steam engines and turbines. The electricity producers that are drawn from, if the primary producers cannot saturate the power grid alone. This also have a set of utilization and spare capacity signals.
- Tertiary producers. This is accumulators. The backup storage that will be drawn from, in case both primary and secondary producers cannot supply the grid with enough power. This too have a set of utilization and spare capacity signals.
- And lastly solar saturation. This signal is binary, so it is 0 if solar panels alone can currently sustain the power grid, 1 otherwise.
