Draw and place 1–16 parallel belt lanes with automatic per-lane underground routing, previews, ghost placement, and standard Undo support.
Providing the player with new tools or adjusting the game interface, without fundamentally changing gameplay.
Version: 2.0.0
Date: 08. 24. 2026
Features:
- Reworked Parallel Belt Builder into a virtual belt drawing and planning tool.
- Added a dedicated drawing tool that creates a virtual path instead of recording an already-built reference belt.
- Added support for Count 1 through 16. Count now starts at 1 whenever PBB is opened.
- Added single-belt drawing support using the same workflow as multi-lane placement.
- Added drag-release placement. The plan is placed when the player releases the drawing drag.
- Added L-shaped path drawing with a configurable bend toggle control.
- Added anchor support for creating multi-segment paths while drawing.
- Added automatic belt selection from the transport-belt item held in the player's cursor.
- Added dynamic transport-belt prototype discovery and speed-based belt list sorting.
- Added per-lane underground belt planning.
- Added underground entrance and exit preview markers.
- Added blocked markers for positions that cannot be placed normally or undergrounded.
- Added lightweight line-based preview for planned lanes.
- Added Start and Anchor editing markers that remain visible independently of placement-plan validity.
- Added Factorio standard Undo integration for entities and ghosts newly created by a PBB placement.
Changes:
- Removed the old reference-belt recording workflow.
- Removed the assumption that the first lane already exists in the world.
- Removed the minimum parallel count of 2.
- Removed the default Count value of 4.
- Removed the Confirm button workflow.
- Existing same-type, same-direction belts and equivalent ghosts are now reused instead of replaced or charged again.
- Normal placement can now mix physical entities and ghosts when inventory is only partially available.
Info:
- PBB does not automatically remove obstacles, replace existing entities, landfill terrain, destroy cliffs, or route around obstacles.
- Modded transport belts are supported on a best-effort basis when they behave like normal transport-belt prototypes.
