Replaces nightvision with a halo light effect around the character, with customizable color, intensity, and scale. Adds Nightvision MK2 and MK3 for progression throughout the base game and space age.
When deactivating or removing this mod from a save, vanilla nightvision equipment tech stays hidden. I had to use console to bring back vanilla tech. game.player.force.technologies['night-vision-equipment'].researched=true
Also some other mods require vanilla nightvision item as crafting ingredient, which made me abandon this otherwise really nice atmospheric mod.
That is fair, this is one of my first mods. I think I now have better ideas how to do this. What mods are you refering too that use nightvision as crafting ingredient?
