Your mod setting "Nightvision LUT" offers two options - Dark Night or Vanilla. I presume you're not referring to the Dark Night mod, as that doesn't seem to affect anything other than Nauvis. Besides, you've linked to Diurnal Dynamics, so I presume you're referring to that mod with "dark night". Might I ask for a bit of clarification?

Thank you for your question! The "Nightvision LUT" setting in our mod refers to the color lookup table used for the nightvision effect outside the halo light. "Vanilla" uses Factorio’s default night LUT, while "Default (dark night)" is our custom, darker, greenish LUT, designed to enhance visibility when paired with mods like Diurnal Dynamics that make nights darker. It’s not related to the Dark Night mod. We recommend the "Default (dark night)" LUT for a more immersive experience with darker nights, especially with Diurnal Dynamics.

But if you play Vanilla, you should choose "vanilla".

Roger that. I just wasn't sure how to replicate the Night Vision darkness effect with the night vision goggles unequipped. the Dark Nights mod isn't it, as that doesn't affect planets outside of Nauvis. Diurnal Dynamics is close, but I haven't been able to fully replicate it, as even at 100% darkness, that mod has much gradual transitions between night and day, while Nightvision Overhaul is on/off day/night.

I got it working close enough, though. Thanks for the explanation :)

Now updated to no longer require the LUT setting, it will just use the active LUT, see changelog for details.
