Alternate expandable Crashsite Logistic using smart linked chests. v3.3 with quality management, more tools, more freedom to adjust the keys - custom mode, clone mode, fill, no-filter-mode, etc - UPS optimized logistic for mass transport - tries to be not overpowered as the (hidden) native linked chest.

b Can't open chest to set filter

As titlte says - can't open chest to set filtering or do anything with first chest that available to player on distance >1 chunk out of 0:0 position.
I learned 6 lvls of first expand tech, so it must be 1+3 total chunks available for single chest to use. But even on second chunk chest isn't working.
What I am doing wrong or why its not working!?

There's a building in the combat tab called a smart linked chest outpost. It allows you to create areas for chests, but be warned, it consumes a lot of energy (for the beginning of the game).

@Rokrae - tech says it increases the distance for chests to work. I done few tech's that shows +0.5 chunk, so 6 tech's by 0.5 = 3 chunks of total length.
If I still need those outposts - the tech is useless competely, cos u still need to use something else to increase the distance.
Or I am missing something?

I'm Brazilian, so the translation might not be perfect. So, that's not exactly how it works. I did some testing with a mod called "Blueprint Sandboxes," so I understand. So, there's the starting area and the areas created by the outposts. When you research, you increase the area both at the starting and at the outposts, so it doesn't invalidate(slightly with the first technology, but it seems that the more advanced, those that require more types of science, the greater the increase in research) . It doesn't exactly increase +0.5 chunks, it's 4 or 6 spaces (at least the first research; I haven't tested the others because I decided to set this mod aside for now until I understand better).

That's the point! Starting area IS NOT increasing from tech! I even learned second tech, that increases area more than 0.5 chunks. I learned 6 of the first tech and 2 of the second tech - still can't go over 1 chunk no matter what :/

@Gredys Expand Sector, the 2 science one, increases the range, by 2 squares per level, not exactly accurate with the stated 0.5 chunks, as chunks are quite large. the 2nd Expand Sector, increases by 4 squares, I haven't gotten far enough for the 3rd one yet but I'm sure it expands by even more squares per research. Also, the expansion, only affects newly placed chests, if you place the chest prior to the research was done, then the chest won't respond properly as it think's it's still outside the previous range. newly placed chests will respect the currently selected range.
