b incompatibility with non-SA

a month ago

Trying to play without Space Age mod (but have space age license).

============
Failed to load mods: Error in assignID: space-location with name 'aquilo' does not exist.
Source: s6x-iridescent-transport-belt (item).
============

I am pretty sure this is a bug. SA mod shouldn't be necessary for Iridescent Industry, correct me if I am wrong.

Please list the mods you're using.

I disabled all other mods to be sure of this error.
If I enable only Elevated Rails, and Quality, but not Space Age, then adding Iridescent Industry produces this error.

Are you absolutely sure you have all other mods disabled?

I could not reproduce this error. I did get some other errors related to carbon, which I'll fix, but with those fixed I don't see this error.

In 1.1.0 I changed the import location to not be Aquilo if Space Age (the mod) isn't loaded. I don't know if this will fix it (I still can't reproduce the bug) but maybe it'll help you.

Actually nevermind on the old error, after disabling all mods except yours I saw an error and assumed it was the same error.
But in reality I am getting this error:

==============
Failed to load mods: Error in assignID: item with name 'carbon' does not exist.
Source: runestone (recipe).
==============

Its important to note that I am on 2.0 not 2.1

My AI is saying this: runestone-common.lua in 0.8.4 puts carbon in the runestone recipe unconditionally, and carbon is a Space Age item.

Right, that's the bug I fixed for 1.1.0.

Iridescent Industry has been updated to 2.1, the 2.0 version won't be updated or receive any fixes any more.

Hmm, so if it won't work for 2.0 anymore, compatibility should be changed: "2.1" instead of "2.0 - 2.1".
But looking forward to Iridescent Industry again whenever my mod and server is bumped to "2.1". I am waiting for stable release though.

The "2.0 - 2.1" thing is put there by the mod portal and I have no control over it.

I should add, as a workaround, the "carbon" thing goes away if you also use Voidcraft, which is the more common way to play Iridescent Industry anyway.

Got it, thanks for responses.
