I've added two experimental "Low latency" drift modes (see the drifting setting) that should feel identical day-to-day — same physics, same tuning. The only difference is under the hood: how each one checks for obstacles during the sideways slide.
If you've got a minute, try both and let me know if you notice any difference at all — especially near rocks, trees, or in multiplayer. Reply with A (Low latency) or B (Low latency B), plus anything you noticed. If they feel the same to you, that's useful too — just say so.
Multiplayer testers especially: if you can, test as the non-host player — that's where this actually matters. Straight-line driving (accelerating, braking, reversing) should feel responsive, like a normal vehicle, regardless of which mode you pick. Turning is the part that's still scripted either way, so that's where any difference between the two (or any remaining lag in general) would show up.
Thanks!
