I tend to play very high enemy settings, and I've found that the upgrades do not affect the missile hovercraft's launcher. This leads to it feeling extremely anaemic and not worth using, because I can upgrade my rocket launcher to fire much faster but the Missile hover craft never gets those same upgrades.

I have pushed a released that has increased the rate of fire for the missile launcher turret. It has always received the bonus from the weapon shooting speed research as that is tied into the ammo not the weapon system. However, the missile launcher turret's rate of fire was so low to begin with the increase seemed negligible.
