Oh, I thought you wanted a Boolean answer!
And the answer is still: "yes". But this time as a string, not a Boolean!
But as I don't want to sound like an ass,, I'd need to say I really don't like these kind of questions: "X has feature Y, is there a reason why doesn't yours?" Usually there's a reason why mod X doesn't have support for Y: Either the feature X wasn't requested., there was a technical difficulty with implementation, or just lack of time. Especially since the people making mods do this for fun and not as a job, their time for working on a mod might take lower priority than their job, oddly enough.
And to answer your question: The mod can be driven remotely, but it doesn't use any "modern" stuff, as it provides different functionality. The reason why it doesn't provide that functionality since 2.0, it's because there was a change in the API, and I can't make it to work as the mod keeps crashing if I re-enable it, something that I've been trying to fix for the past 6 months.
Now, I do know where exactly the error occurs, But I don't know how to fix it, but still trying to figure it out as much as my time allows it, but in the hindside, repository is opened and patches are super welcome.
With that said, I'm locking this thread, and I already explained in the reply why is that so.
