g Constructrons ignore landfill? [resolved]

I am experiencing kind of a strange issue where constructrons completely ignore specially made landfill shortcut and choose to go through biter infested areas outside the base's walls insted. Quite weird since they are smart enough to actually place landfill to reach their target if you task them with landfilling a lake.

Is this the same issue with just wonky factorio pathing another user posted before? And if it is... is there any way to nudge them to use shorter path?

UPD: Ok, so i ve made my shortcut a lot wider and now they re properly using it. I am not sure if it was too narrow (was like 5-6 tiles wide) or spiders needed some time to register new path, but now they re using that shortcut. I am a bit confused.

Yes, the bounding box for the spider starts at 5x5 so you need that width at the very minimum for a tile bridge or else the games path finder will find the path by other means.

Oh, thats very good to know, thanks a lot! That ll help me plan around spider pathing in advance to avoid having them chomped by biters. Much appreciated. Maybe thats worth noting somewhere in mod description so people don't bother you reporting pathing stuffs xD

And btw, i am thoroughly enjoying every moment of using this mod. Not having to haul ass through entire map or cover entire planet with robot network is a blessing.
