Frost Biters

Adds a nest of Frost Aliens and Worms! These aliens will cause frost damage, and may launch a frost cloud over your factory. Defeated aliens will drop artifacts that can be further processed into weapons and armors (optional). With Alien-biomes, nests will only spawn in cold areas.

i SE integration

Would it be possible to integrate the cold warfare stuff with Space Exploration if installed thanks to the addition of the cyrogun and cyronite in 0.3.

How exactly ?

Now these are just some ideas of the top of my head.

Use cyronite rods to make the cold jet ammo and cold capsules. The Armors can still require artifacts.
Have the Cyrogun take cold jet ammo replacing the cold jet rifle completely.
Have a cold extract to cyronite rod recipe to allow the loot dropped by cold biters to be used in the cyronite supply. Cold worlds in Space exploration are going to have a lot cold biters and thus a lot more loot.

This would allow the cold jet ammo and cold capsules to be made without a consent supply of biters and would allow the Glands to be used in more things and not have a ton of Glands in storage (the main reason I was asking for integration).

What GeneralTank said, and also:

Would be cool if these items were behind the research for Cryogun or Hypercooling 2, and required Cryonite Rods, Cryonite Slush, and/or Supercooled Thermofluid to craft the ammo. Cold biter loot being used to refine into Cryonite seems like a good idea, but it shouldn't yield too much. It would basically guarantee that Cryonite was available in any frozen and hostile environment, so it should be a fairly low amount; alternatively if they yield specifically Cryonite Slush then it cannot be turned into Cryonite Rods and is only useful for a limited amount of the normal uses for Cryonite.

Likewise, Explosive Biters could yield stuff which can be converted into Vulcanite Blocks, or perhaps just Pyroflux in order to limit what can be done with it.
