It seems that "train wheel friction coefficient" option does exactly nothing (what is supposed to do? diminish the maximum speed or facilitate braking?). It also seems this mod completely ignores "braking force" bonus.
This mod was a simple 2.0 port of the existing mod 'Rivens Realistic Train Acceleration'. The original mod has now been updated to work with 2.0 and has some new features, so feel free to switch back: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/TrainSpeeds
