i think it would be an improvement, if you could have some interface, where you can place the items, what you want to upgrade.
I've got for example Express Belt and at the beginning its still quite expensive and you don't want to spend it everywhere, when you don't need it or am i wrong? Or like Assembling Machines 3 or something else...

I'd like, if you could do something like that, throu i understand, if you don't want to make it...

The intended use is only to put items on your logistic network if you have them to spare. If you want to upgrade specific elements if your network, either use a steel chest and a personal roboport or mark them for upgrade manually. This mod should only create orders using spare materials and spare bots, so if there are existing orders they will get fulfilled first.
