I'm very interested in using this mod, but before I do, I have two questions:

Can the mod be safely removed from a save game, in case I later decide not to use it anymore.

When the mod is active, will it also remove exhausted drills that have a circuit connection or will it leave those alone?
(FWIW I'm hoping for the latter, since I'm running a loudspeaker alert, when a resources patch is empty. And there won't be an alert, if the drill is gone.)
Thanks in advance for any info on the matter, since I couldn't find any more detailed description about the functionality, even though I checked the github as well. But perhaps I'm missing something?
