I just installed a bunch of mods to an existing vanilla save, so I don't know if it's due to a weird interaction, but at the moment I can research Electromechanics, which uses Promethium science, but does not have it as a prerequisite (which is currently unresearched in this save). I'll check later if it happens with just Age of Production and no other mods.

I was gonna touch on the mod tomorrow anyway to fix a minor bug I found after releasing so thanks for letting me know about this
