The mod portal will match your query against the mod title, internal name, summary, and username of the mod owner.
To further refine your search, use the sidebar on the left. Enable the checkboxes to limit the search results to selected categories and tags or use the ban button to exclude them.
You can reset your filters by clicking the active tab on the top.
There's a lot of caching on this page. It can take several hours for new mods and updates to show up in search results.
This is a small mod that adds electric cars and tanks (thats needs batteries) and a charging station. Vanilla and Bob's batteries have now a fuel value, if these are depleted you can recharge them at a charging station.

This mod just removes the build/placement restrictions from the items of each planet. Now you can finally get the #^%*@ off of Gleba and never have to go back. Recommend not installing until you get settled on Aquilo to make it a fair progression. I would have paywalled this behind several Technology research options but that looks like a hell of a lot more work.
