The locomotives can also use any other reactor fuels added by other mods, such as breeder cells from Nuclear Fuel. Rather than trying to detect and apply bonuses to each potential fuel cell, instead the nuclear locomotive has a base top speed 15% faster than the regular locomotive, and accelerates faster simply by being twice as powerful for the same weight.

Nuclear locomotives research becomes available when Railway, Nuclear power, Electric engine and Low density structure technologies have been researched.

If Name Lists is present, nuclear locomotives receive random, nuclear-themed names on placement. Want to change them? There's a mod for that.
