Both in version 1.2.1 from mod portal and 1.3.0 from git

odd... you're telling me this save doesn't already have the mod?

No, but it did have beacons that should be migrated. However even in a save without them i think it crashes too, though not sure

Like... beacons that are normal, but then migrated to a nonstandard one? If so, can you provide the new prototype? Depending on what was changed the migration does different things.
