How you doing? No beating around the bush, there seems to be a bug in the Zen Tower, not picking up fully grown trees in Nauvis :( I'm sharing a screenshot on the issue:

The Zen-towers are new addition but basically just a rescaled copy of the original.

I could not reproduce the issue, even when installing the Wooden fulgora mod, you have visible on your screenshot.
- Check if output is full?
- any circuit connected in the tower with enable/disable condition?
- hover a tree and see if growth is at 100%

If none of these are the problem, I will need some more information, a mod list or a save file where I can reproduce it

Sorry for the Spam, but I had a gut feeling and I was right.

Zen Tower collect "virgin trees", but not "planted trees", and upon further investigation, I just found out that disabling https://mods.factorio.com/mod/Wood_Gasification_updated (source code: https://github.com/cappie/mods-factorio-Wood_Gasification) fixes the issue - while killing my main wood usage, LOL.

So, something in the Wood Gasification change in the trees is killing the plant/grow/collect tree process intended in the Zen Tower. If this is too much of a hassle, just let me know and I'll double down on greenhouses for wood production and use the trees for pollution absorbing purposes.

The problem was that I did actually change the output slot to 1 since it is a smaller machine, so the mod adding the seed to the plants expected result, didn't have output space in the tower.
It works in your save instantly.

I see that some mods also override the surface condition, the Zen-tower was designed only for Nauvis since it would be just massively more overpowered on Gleba than normal Agricultural towers. But the Mk-2 should be overpowered anyway so have a blast with it on other surfaces ;)
