High Caliber Guns


Projectile weapons shoot at half speed but with double or more damage per shot. Adds several new projectile weapons and entities. This mod is designed for increased difficulty enemies (deathworld), and might be overpowered for default

  Balance:
    - Pistol bonus reduced to 60%, as the one-shot one-kill made very early fights too easy. Shooting speed slightly increased

    - 20% increase to base SMG shooting speed too - It is now precisely twice the DPS of pistol
    - Magnum bonus nerfed by 20% (to +400% instead of +500%), shooting speed bumped by 20%
    - Bullet crate ammo for Avenger has double stack size (20 instead of 10). No other changes to it
    - Reduced science cost for Magnum, Sniper rifle and GAU avenger to better match other weapons research

    - Research for Magnum now depends on Military (1) research and Steel processing (since it requires steel to build)
