Water Ford adds two wooden terrain tiles: a ford you can walk across, and the matching Wooden Flooring for dry land.
Wooden Ford
- Cross water on foot — ford across rivers, lakes and your Cargo Ships waterways.
- Everyone crosses: you, biters, and Pyanodon's land caravans — while fish swim across the deck and Cargo Ships vessels still sail over it.
- The deck lies under animated water, with wooden pilings standing semi-submerged at the rims and ballast stones tinting at the waterline: a real shallow crossing, not a floating walkway.
- Water stays water: the ford is placeable on water only, and fish, offshore pumps and other water-dwellers treat it as water.
- Unbuildable: you can't construct buildings on fords as they are not intended as a substitute for landfill.
Wooden Flooring
- Honey-toned plank boards for camps, yards and walkways — land only.
- A raised wooden bumper edge at the waterline and a wooden trim against other terrain, so board edges read as built, not cut.
- Same boards, same palette as the ford deck — the two tiles read as one family.
Works standalone; with Pyanodon's Alien Life the boards join the wood chain and the caravans get their crossings.
