Wooden Vulcanus: Sulfuric Bacteria
You're not even sure why you need wood on a planet where any structure made from it spontaneously combusts within minutes, but you do. Fortunately, there are some cheeky little bacteria clustered around the sulfur vents that seem to resemble little splinters of wood when they die. You think with some form of sticky substance you might be able to glue them back together into something resembling wood. Surely nobody will notice?
Features:
- Sulfuric bacteria that grow around and within the Sulfur vents on Vulcanus, most easily found in Sulfuric stromatolite found nearby. If you accidentally run out, you can either filter them out from Sulfuric acid on Vulcanus with a bit of effort, or harvest them from the corpses of Demolishers if you're brave.
- The bacteria spoil into Wood, or Woodchips with Wooden Industry installed, in which case you need to glue the wood back together using Resin.
